A Pentatonix Christmas Concert Party

One of my all time favorite singing groups is Pentatonix! For those that may not be familiar with them, they got their “big break” on an acapella singing competition a few years ago and they have been nailing those notes ever since. Their Christmas albums are a staple in our house, the kids love the mash ups and I can’t get over that they never use any instruments! If you are like me and have never had the opportunity to see them in concert, this year is our lucky year. Pentatonix is going to be performing on BYUtv’s annual Christmas Under the Stars concert December 5th, 2021.

When is the concert? The concert will start streaming on demand December 5th at 6pm PST. 

How much does BYUtv cost? It’s FREE!!! You heard me right, there are no hidden fees, you don’t have to put in any credit card info, just download the app for free and tune in to watch Christmas Under the Stars. 

Want to have a themed watch party? I’ve got you covered! We made lots of easy themed food for our party that you probably already have in your house and then of course we had to get a little dressed up and sing along with our favorite songs!;)

Menu List:

-Acapella Pie Pops: I used pillsbury pre-made pie dough, rolled it out and cut it into squares. I placed one square on top of a popsicle stick, put some jelly inside, then placed another square on top. I added some fork marks around the edges and sprinkled some sugar on top.  

-Pentatonix Popcorn: All I did was pop some regular popcorn and added some red and green M&M’s. Super easy and it gives it that sweet and salty taste.

-Harmony Hot Coco- Just make some hot coco and add the biggest marshmallows you can find!;)

-Microphone Muffins- This was an idea I found on Pinterest and thought was so cute. I used a muffin mix and added our favorite toppings like blueberries and M&M’s. You could also use cupcake mix if you wanted something even sweeter. Just make sure not to fill the cone all the way to the top because they will spill over!!

-Symphony Bars- These I found at our local Ralphs grocery store and I thought they were the perfect touch to our musical party!
