Best Gluten Free Disneyland Foods
I get asked all the time about the best gluten free Disneyland foods, since I try to eat gluten free 99% of the time (besides an occasional churro). So I thought I would finally put together a post to share with all of you. Menu items do change from time to time, so make sure if you have a severe gluten allergy that you ALWAYS double check with a chef at the location before eating!! I do not have celiac disease, only a sensitivity to gluten, so if things are cross-contaminated I will not get violently ill, so again, always ask before eating!
The best #glutenfree foods @disneyland parks!! Click To TweetHow to find Gluten Free food at Disneyland…
1. One way is to ask a server, or cashier if it’s a quick service location, to see an allergy friendly menu. Sometimes they will bring out a chef to talk to you about your options. Unless you are at a food cart, they always have a separate menu for you to check out.
2. Another way to check allergy friendly menu’s is to go to the Disneyland (or DisneyWorld) app. Click on the plus sign on the bottom of the screen, click on order food, then click on a restaurant you want to go to. Once you have chosen the place you want to eat, there will also be a time of availability to pick up your food. Pick a time, even if you plan to change your mind you will have a chance to cancel. At the top, there is a “View Menu” button, once you are viewing the menu there should be options for allergy preferences at the top. If not, sometimes you have to scroll to the bottom of the menu to find the allergy friendly items. You can pick from egg, gluten, fish/shellfish, milk and soy allergy friendly meals.
3. If you don’t know where you want to eat you can also click on the map, choose “dining” from the drop down list, then click on something in your nearby area. From there you can follow the same steps from above by clicking on the “View Menu” button. If you already know where you want to eat you can also type the name of the restaurant into the search bar, then click on the menu from there.
