Disneyland Easter Egg Hunt
“Easter is the only time it’s ok to put all of your eggs in one basket.”
Looking for a fun, Disney-themed Easter egg hunt? Then check out the Disneyland Easter egg hunt. This was our first year trying it out and we had so much fun! It is the perfect activity for a busy park day and you don’t feel like waiting in long lines. Since this post was first written, Disneyland has made adjustments each year to the hunt. One year it was just at Downtown Disney, so make sure to check back here or check the Disneyland website for more information as it comes out.
How the Disneyland Easter hunt works…
There are 3 separate maps you can purchase; one for Disneyland, California Adventure and/or one for Downtown Disney. You can buy one map or many, but there is only one egg given per map purchased. Each map costs $5.99. You can redeem the egg when you purchase your map so you don’t have to wait in line again, or you can redeem it after you have found all the hidden eggs on the map.
The map gives you about 12 locations to search and find a hidden egg. As you find an egg you then put a sticker on your map to mark which ones you have found. Our kiddos loved looking all over the park for the eggs and discovering which character would be at which location. Most of the eggs are hidden up high both inside and outside of their prospective locations.
Check out the #eggstravaganza at @disneyland going on now through April 1st Click To TweetWe decided to do all 3 maps for each child, so they each ended up with 3 eggs, which made a complete set of 6. There was another option to do a separate set of Star Wars eggs, but we opted not to do that.
I think we will be making this a new Easter tradition. What do you think? Will you go hunt for some eggs at the Happiest Place on Earth?:) Check out more Disneyland posts HERE.
Thank you for sharing! We will miss the dead line this year but I will certainly consider it for next year!!! Great eggtravaganzua !!!
So fun! Love!
