Dressing to Be Yourself

I lived for the first day of school as a kid, mostly to show off the new outfits I had been saving all summer long. Let’s face it, fashion for me was way more fun than actually doing school work (but don’t tell my kids that)!;) LOL.
Now that we have kids I am still excited to pick out the new outfits for that first day (or week) of school. This year I was lucky enough to partner with OshKosh B’gosh to dress our kids for their big day. Since my kids are only 4 and 6, I worked with them to find the fun new back to school outfits. Kids fashion has definitely come a long way since I was in school and OshKosh still has some of the cutest styles, plus even more sizes with still being age appropriate.
When I read this shirt to our son he agreed that this summed up his unique style and personality. He loves music and has such a good ear for the piano, this shirt was a must!
We also agreed on a nice colored blocked shirt to go with the pair of shorts he could wear with either shirt. He loved the bright colors of the shirt and the fact that the shorts had a drawstring for his smaller waist!
Our daughter’s fashion can be summed up in one word, FANCY. She loves to be fancy all day every day. So when she saw the shirt that said “Ooh La La” a phrase used very often by Fancy Nancy herself, she knew that was the one for her! She also adored this pink skirt with the bow which matched the detail of the bow on the shirt. A perfect match for our fancy princess!;)
The two of them in their outfits felt cool and stylish and I felt good that they could be themselves. Which is exactly what OshKosh strives to do for all of our kids.
