Frozen 2 World Premiere and Movie Review
“Into the Unknown”
We had the honor of seeing the world premiere of Frozen 2 in Hollywood just last week and it was amazing! We walked the red carpet, met some of the stars and saw the movie before it officially comes out on November 22nd. Here are a few photo’s of the fun…
We also had the opportunity to see the movie again, courtesy of Disney, and have a fun Frozen 2 Family Night Out. Before the movie Disney sent over a new dress for Rosie to wear and lots of fun accessories to show off as well. The day of the movie Rosie and I were treated to a new hairy style, then we all had dinner before going to see the movie. The kids LOVED it and the hubby and I both agreed we loved it even more the second time around! There was so much we missed the first time, I highly suggest seeing it again!!
Headed to see @DisneyFrozen this weekend? Check out our full review here (no major spoilers). #frozen2 Click To TweetNow here is a quick review of the movie…
Brief Synopsis: A few years after the first Frozen movie we are taken back to Arendelle to meet up with our favorite characters; Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven. There is immediate trouble in the kingdom when Elsa feels something calling to her and possibly threatening the safety of the ones she loves. So the 5 friends set off on a new adventure to find out the origin of Elsa’s powers and to save Arendelle.
What ages do I suggest seeing the movie? ALL AGES! This is definitely a family friendly movie.
Rated: PG
Length: 1 hr. 43 minutes
Released to Theater: November 22nd, 2019
Other Info: I think there was a lot of added humor to this movie, even more than the first. Olaf, per usual, is a definite highlight and comedy relief during some of the more serious scenes. Kristoff actually has an entire song this movie and it is pretty hysterical, a take on a bad 80’s music video. I loved both Anna’s new song “The Next Right Thing” and Elsa’s song “Into the Unknown.”
There are only a few slightly scary moments with some rock giants (who end up to be good) and a few elements of nature (who all end up to be tame) that might seem scary at first. But I like to warn parents in case they want to prepare their little ones before going into the movie. The story line is also more complex than the first, so just a heads up your kids may have a few questions afterwards.
I also cried crocodile tears during a certain point of the film when Anna felt like she was all alone facing the challenge of “how do you move on after something so incredibly devastating?” So, be prepared with a few tissues!
Are you excited to see the movie?? Curious about any of the other Disney movies that came out this year? I have most of them reviewed HERE.
This movie is wonderful! Really loved the story line and how Disney kept the characters true to themselves. And yes, music was incredible! You look amazing at the premiere!! 💕
