Springtime at South Coast Plaza
“Hoppy Easter Wishes and Bunny Kisses.”
We had the privilege of partnering with South Coast Plaza to bring you information on all of the fun activities that they have going on now for springtime. Back for the first time in 2 years, the Easter Bunny, all of the beautiful decor, the bunny carousel, the crafts and of course the shopping.;) We have visited South Coast Plaza for Christmas, which you can see HERE, but we have never gone for Easter, so we were in awe of all the details. Here is everything you need to know before you plan your visit…
Visit the Easter Bunny at South Coast Plaza:
You can find the Easter bunny in Carousel Court, Level 1 or in Macy’s Home Store Wing, Level 1 from 11am-7pm. There are lots of photo options for meeting the Easter bunny, which by the way, is the CUTEST bunny we have ever seen. We LOVED that it wasn’t an adult human dressed as a bunny, but instead, it is an animatronic bunny who can listen and talk with the kids. There is an option for a life size bunny on Bear Street to take photos with as well if you prefer. With 10 different photo packages, ranging from $10-$53, there really is something for everyone.
Ride the Bunny Carousel at South Coast Plaza:
For just $2 a person your kids can have a ride on the bunny carousel. Even though our kids are starting to get a little older, they still loved going on the carousel and it made for some pretty cute photos.
Make a spring craft:
Your kids can pick from a variety of crafts to color ranging from $8-$9. There is the Birdwatcher’s Delight Birdfeeder, Duck Pull Toy, Garden Bunny or a Bunny Basket. Crafts can be found in the Carousel Court, Level 1 from 11am-7pm, or in the Macy’s Home Store Wing, Level 1 Fri-Sun & April 11-16 from 11am-7pm.
Enjoy the Decor:
I throughly enjoyed all of the decor throughout South Coast Plaza. The work that went into every small detail was not lost on me. You could tell that they really planned everything out, down to the color schemes and little hidden gems.
Go Shopping at South Coast Plaza:
Of course South Coast Plaza has everything you need for those Easter baskets and/or outfits for the entire family. We stopped at a few places to pick up a couple of items for their baskets like the Lego Store and Nectar Bath Treats. Then I found my way into Baby Gap & Kids Gap to admire some new outfits for Easter.
Eat at South Coast Plaza:
There are SO MANY options to eat at South Coast Plaza, our kids love Ruby’s Diner, so we decided to hop on over for some burgers and shakes. Our other family favorites are Boudin Bakery, Claim Jumper, Corner Bakery, Magliano’s Little Italy and Wahoo’s Fish Taco. There are lots of other options that my husband and I would consider “date night” material, if you are looking for something a little more upscale. You will find everything from Italian to Indian to Mediterranean to Japanese and more.
