A Stay at Hyatt House in Anaheim
“Never, under estimate the importance of having fun!”
We love checking out hotels in the Anaheim area so that we can suggest certain places to stay for our out of town readers. This time we had the privilege of being hosted at the Hyatt House in Anaheim and we had a great time!! We would definitely put this hotel at the top of our list of places to stay if you are headed to Disneyland or the Anaheim area. Here are the highlights of our two night stay…
Where to stay when you are headed to Anaheim! #visitanaheim #hosted @visitanaheim Click To TweetLobby: As soon as we walked in I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the lobby area was with plenty of space and seating areas.
Rooms: We had the chance to sleep in one of their bunk bed suites and it was awesome!! I LOVE it when hotels give parents the option for a separate space just for the kids!! This particular room even had a couch with a TV in the kids area so you could sleep 3-4 kids with the pull out couch and they can wake up and just watch some cartoons while the parents get a little extra rest!;) There was also a nice desk area with refrigerator and microwave that is perfect for packing up snacks for your adventures. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower/tub.
FREE HOT BREAKFAST: You heard me right, FREE HOT BREAKFAST is included in your stay! I wasn’t sure if any hotels would offer this again after the pandemic, but Hyatt House has brought it back. And it is more than just bagels and coffee, they are offering scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, toast/bagels, coffee, tea and juices. This is a total win for us to have a meal included!
Pool Area: There is a very large pool area with plenty of space to lay out and a nice size spa as well. Because most people were headed out to the parks, we didn’t have much competition for the pool, which was nice. They also had a few BBQ’s and tables if you wanted to cook your own dinner one night, which I think is a great option.
Location: This is a great location in relation to everything in Anaheim. It took us approximately 12 minutes to walk from the front lobby to the main entrance of Disneyland. The convention center is even closer than that and they have a Starbucks, Blaze Pizza and Walgreens right next door! Not to mention the Anaheim GardenWalk, with tons of restaurants and shops, is also about a 5 minute walk across the street. Talk about convenience!! We were only 10-12 minutes from The Rinks Anaheim ICE for skating and about 15 minutes from shopping at South Coast Plaza.
