Disney Family Game Night

“A family that plays together, stays together.”

(This post was sponsored by Spin Master, but all opinions and photos are mine)

We were so excited when Spin Master reached out to us for two reasons; 1) we are HUGE fans of board games, they makes for the perfect family night and 2) we are obsessed with Spin Master games!! Our daughter loves playing “Headbanz” which is made by Spin Master, but we didn’t realize how many other board games they make, until now. They sent us three new Disney games to try out and we had a blast. If you and your family love to play games, then you are going to want to add these to your Christmas list pronto. Here are some more details about each one…

Disney Family Game Night

1. Disney Sidekicks– The Disney heroes are in trouble and it’s up to the Sidekicks to save the day! The famous Villains have teamed up and captured the heroes, locking them in the castle. The Sidekicks must work together in this strategy game to rescue the Heroes, save the local Villagers and defeat the Villains.

On each turn you will face new dangers including castle guards, hyenas, loyal henchmen and magical curses. Rescue all the Heroes and defeat at least one Villain and the Sidekicks win!! Includes 1 gameboard, castle centerpiece, 12 mini sculpted figures, 8 mini bridges, 90 cards, 5 Villain cards, 5 character cards & die. Made for 2-4 players, ages 8+, 40 minutes of play, with clear and detailed instructions. You can shop it HERE –> Disney Sidekicks.

2. Disney Princess Treats & Sweets Party Game– This was most definitely Rosie’s favorite game of the night. In fact, she decided to grab a crown to wear and kept it on the rest of the night.;) Pour dice from the magical teapot to see which color to move to on the game board and how many cupcake cards to turn over. Be the first to collect five matches on your plate and you’ve won!

Includes 3-piece teapot, gameboard, 40 cupcake cards, dice, 4 teacup movers, plates and sugar cube tokens. Rosie has already used the pieces for pretend play when we aren’t playing the game and of course we always do pinkies up when having a pretend tea party!:) Ages 4+. You can shop it HERE –> Disney Princess Treats & Sweets.

3. Family Feud Disney Edition– I have watched Family Feud on TV for decades, so I was pretty excited to teach the kids how to play. Although it is slightly different than the TV show, there are plenty of similarities. Plus, having all the questions related to our Disney knowledge was perfect. Just like the TV show you get to answer questions and see “what the survey says” afterwards, then score your points. The game is complete with hundreds of new Disney survey questions, and a Fast Money Bonus Round.

You will have to divide your group into two teams, plus one person to play the role of host, I feel like this would be a great game to bring to a holiday party. The host reads out a question, writes down the answers, adds up the scores and makes decisions on who the fastest person was to raise their hand. There are 3 rounds, plus the Fast Money triple point round. At the end of the Fast Money round, the host adds up each team’s total game scores. The team with the highest score wins! Ages 8+. You can shop it HERE –> Family Feud: Disney Edition

Does your family love to play board games? Which one do you think would be your favorite?
