A Stay at The Garland Hotel

“Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax.”

When we were invited to attend the world premiere of the Lion King (you can read about that here), I knew it was going to be a late night in Hollywood and we would need to stay the night. I had a close friend recommend we stay at The Garland hotel, only 2 exits away from The Dolby Theater, where we would be for the premiere, so it was a perfect location. I was so thankful when they said they would host us for the night, but trust me when I say I would definitely stay there again and again.

Here are some of our favorite spots on the property and hope we have even more time to enjoy the hotel next time we stay!

The Entry & Lounge was adorable and welcoming. There was a sweet little gift shop adjacent to the entrance and once inside the lobby I fell in love with all the decor. There was a lounge/bar area for anyone to just sit back, relax and forget they are even in a big city.

The Pool area had plenty of wonderful places to lounge in the sun or the shade and there was a super cute bar area as well for drinks.

The Courtyard had lots of cute little nooks to sit and chill, play a game of foosball or just take a great selfie!;) Plus, at night there are tons of twinkling lights so you can still hang out under the stars.

The Room had everything we needed! We stayed in one of the family suites that had bunk beds for the kids, which is always a highlight for them! Plus, the bunk beds were in a separate area giving parents a little bit of privacy, a total bonus for me!! There was a nice kitchen area with a fridge and microwave and a very well lit bathroom. We all slept great and even ordered room service in the morning, a special treat!

There is also an on site restaurant called The Front Yard, which we didn’t have a chance to eat at, but we did order the Front Yard To-Go for our room service and it was super yummy!! I hope our travels take us back to The Garland very soon, thank you so much for having us!

This place looks gorgeous! I’ll look at this one next time we stay in LA. The bunk beds are a huge selling point for kids too!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

And I love that the bunk beds were in a separate area! The perfect idea for young families!
