A Stay at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim

The Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim is a newly remodeled hotel walking distance to Disneyland. We had the honor of partnering with them for our third annual Magical Media Retreat. It was not only a great location for us to have a Disney day, but it was also the perfect place for our conference. Without delay, here is a stay at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim…

Lobby at the sheraton park

As soon as I walked in I could tell that the entire hotel had recently been remodeled. It is very open and welcoming. There is a bar area to grab a quick bite, a convenient store in case you forgot anything and even a Starbucks for all you coffee drinkers. There is also a full service restaurant called Savor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rooms

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 to sleep and hang out. Our favorite part was the balcony that had quite the view of the pool below and lots of other sights of the Anaheim area.

Pool

The pool area was super fun for everyone. The kids loved the giant chess set and I loved that there was plenty of places to sit and relax. There was a hot tub and plenty of shade for hot days. You can also grab a drink or light bite at the Splash Bar inside the pool area.

Meeting Spaces

For our conference we were in the Garden Ballroom, which had large windows and a patio perfectly adjacent to it. We had plenty of space and natural lighting, which was exactly what we were looking for in a meeting space. We actually had an evening reception on the patio, which made transporting our guests and decor very easy. The staff was super helpful and the food was great.

Surrounding Area

In just 10 minutes you can walk to Downtown Disney and the entrance to Disneyland. You could also walk to the Garden Walk, which also has lots of restaurants and shops. If you are not a Disney fan, there are also lots of other things to do in the area like the Angel Stadium, The Honda Center and so much more.

Other

Not sure what the Magical Media Retreat is? I have a blog post from our first and second years, with a review of our third coming very soon.
