How to Have Your Own Mickey Halloween Party
“This is Halloween, This is Halloween!”
Since Disneyland is STILL not open and we have no date of it’s re-opening, we have had to bring the magic home lately. Halloween is one of our favorite times at the parks, so it has been especially hard being stuck at home. BUT, I teamed up with two of my favorite blogging ladies and we decided to make the best of it by creating our own Disney Halloween party. Thank you to Mornings with Mickey and Chasing Disney Daily for helping me create a fun night for our families!! Here is how to have your own Mickey Halloween Party…
It was really quite simple, but I will break it into a few categories; activities, food/sweets and decorations. I will also try to link a few items for easy shopping, but a few items are no longer sold. I do use affiliate links, so thank you for shopping through me. Let’s get started…
Most all photos were taken by the talented Lindsay Kelsch Photography

Dance Party
We played some classic Halloween music and the kids danced around. You could do freeze dance or even musical chairs if you want more games.
Of course the adults had to dress up too…we were all villains (except for Pluto who had to do a last minute change). haha!
Trick or Treat Stations
Each mom set up a little station with a themed candy for her character and the kids got to go trick-or-treating at the station. It was simple but fun and the kids loved it. Evil Queen passed out apple sauce and Ursella passed out gold fish.
Here are the links to some of the games we played. Click on the photo to shop –>
Food & Sweets at the Mickey Halloween Party:
Pizza, salad and fruit
For the main course we had pizza, but who really cares about that, when you see how cute our snacks and desserts were?!? lol!
The best part was the TREATS!;) The Boo Boxes are from my amazing friend Loryn who owns Picnic Artisanal Grazing. She did such a great job of creating these boxes for each child filled with such yummy treats for them to take home. She also does the most delicious and beautiful savory boxes as well, you definitely need to check out her page! The cookies inside the box are from @sunshinebakesco and they were the cutest little detail.
The platter of sweets came from @spoonfulofsugarbaker and she did an outstanding job with the chocolate strawberries, pretzels, covered Oreo’s, rice crispy treats, and cupcakes!
Decorations for the Mickey Halloween Party:
Mickey Pumpkin and Mickey Ghost
We found these at Lowe’s, but they sold out like hot cakes! I am not sure if they will be restocked this year, but I will keep my eyes open for next year.
