Christmas at the San Clemente Outlets

“Sleigh bells ring are you listening?”

(This post was in partnership with Outlets at San Clemente, but all opinions and photos are mine)

Looking for a fun, FREE, safe holiday activity to do with your family? I’ve got the perfect place for all my Orange County friends. The Outlets at San Clemente have come up with a plan to bring you some holiday cheer this year, because we could all use an extra dose!;)

Just off the 5 freeway in South Orange County you will find the Outlets at San Clemente. We have loved coming here ever since they opened a few years ago, but this season they have really come up with a great plan.

Christmas at the San Clemente Outlets

First off, they brought in the world’s tallest Christmas tree, standing at 125 feet tall with over 18,000 multi-colored lights and 10,000 bows and ornaments! It’s a white fir tree from Mt. Shasta with a 24-inch trunk and measures 34 feet from branch tip to branch tip.

The entire complex is decorated with lights, huge ornaments, garland and even reindeer too! Santa’s helpers move and ring their jingle bells as you walk by and Rudolph’s nose even lights up.

The part that my kids actually loved the most was a holiday themed scavenger hunt, completely free, with prizes at the end. If you go to customer service they will give you a map with stickers, you then go around looking in the shop windows for little signs to match up the stickers. Once you have them all you can return to guest services to get coupons for a free pretzel from Annie’s Pretzels and a free dessert from Blaze Pizza. This was a total win for our family!

New shops & restaurants at the Outlets include a Lululemon Pop-Up and UGG plus Chick-Fil_A and Asada Cantina + Kitchen (which you will want to put your name in early because there was quite a wait when we tried to eat there).

Outlets at San Clemente is also offering 25 Days of Savings now through November 25 so guests can get a head start on Christmas shopping with exclusive deals. View the savings HERE.

We did not see Santa ourselves, but I have seen others visit him. He is behind Plexiglas and you can speak with him through it and take photos.
