Disney Cruise Line: Magical Moments
“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” -Roald Dahl
Here we are, the final edition of; The Magic of a 7-Night Disney Cruise (Part 3). If you missed parts ONE and TWO you can go back to read them anytime. This post I saved for last because it is all about the magic that ONLY Disney can provide. If you have never been to Disneyland, Disney World or on any Disney vacation you may not know the magic that I am talking about, but I am here to share with you why Disney Cruise Line is not just a step above the rest, it is in its own league. AND if you have at least 7 (or more) nights on the ship you will get to experience even more of what I am talking about…Which brings us to our last topic…
Reason 3: There is so much MORE MAGIC to experience.
(I was gifted a Disney cruise with my family, but ALL opinions are my own!)
Characters – All of your favorite friends are out in abundance. It’s no secret we love to see Minnie and Mickey, but the cruise ship has so many character experiences it is hard to see them all (which is why you need more nights). You can meet friends within the ship, on different decks, at special dining (all at no additional cost, but you do need a reservation) and even at certain ports. We also loved trying to see them in all their different outfits which does change depending on the cruise and the destination.
There is so much more magic to explore when you have more nights on a @disneycruise vacation. Check it out here! #disneypartner #hosted Click To TweetMain Stage Shows – Each night there is a main stage performance at the Walt Disney Theater. You will watch Broadway caliber shows ranging from a montage of your favorite Disney music and scenes, to an entire production of Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled or Frozen. On the Fantasy we got to experience the Aladdin show and our kids were captivating from beginning to end.
Bibbity Bobbity Boutique – I had no idea the magic that awaited us at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. Our daughter got to have a full makeover with a new hair style, nail painting, face jewels, crown, sash and enough pixie dust to make her feel like a real princess. Our son chose to do a Captain Mickey makeover, which might just be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. He got such special treatment getting a new hair style with Mickey glitter and of course his new outfit.
Here is a fun video of our experience there…
Themed Nights– Certain cruises and sailings have different kinds of themed nights. On our Alaskan cruise there was a Frozen night, on our Caribbean cruise we experienced the Pirate night with fireworks. Some sailings have a Star Wars or Marvel themed day. It’s always so much fun to get dressed up and see the shows and even visit with characters who are also dressed for the occasion.
Sweet Treats – It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyways, that food on board the Disney Cruise Line is fantastic. But our kids are especially fond of the endless soft serve ice cream whenever you want and Mickey Bars every night after dinner. Can’t say I was unhappy about either of these options!;) On certain ships there are also additional sweet shops like “Venelope’s Sweets and Treats” on the Dream and “Sweet On You” on the Fantasy; these do have an extra fee, but worth picking out at least one little treat!;)
Towel Animals – This might seem like such a simple gesture to some, but every night our kids would look forward to seeing which animal would be waiting for us back in our room. We never knew what we would find, but it was never disappointing. It is the little things like towel animals that really make the Disney Cruise so magical.
So there you have it, just some of the reasons I think you need at least 7-nights on board a Disney Cruise vacation. So now the question is…are you tempted to check out their sailings? If so, make sure to click on this link. You never know what kind of magic might be awaiting you!
Now I know why they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!! Your photos, speak volumes!
I’m totally convinced a Disney Cruise is worth every bit of seven days!! Thanks!!
We just experienced our first cruise on the fantasy through the Caribbean. We finished on May 5th and I can’t wait to book another one! We love Disney and the cruise was next level! It is also an amazing way to travel with kids! We visited four different locations and had the same room every night! I agree with everything you are saying plus more! Can’t wait for the next one.
Yay! I am so glad you had a fantastic time! Disney cruises are simply the best! We can’t wait to go again too!;)
