The New Legoland Movie World
“Everything is AWESOME!”
We are huge Lego fans, including Legoland! We have been going to Legoland for years now, but I feel like they are at the perfect ages and heights for all the rides! Recently Legoland invited & hosted us to take part in the grand opening of the new Legoland Movie World. If your kids have seen the Lego movies, they are going to be thrilled with this new area of the park. The new land is the largest addition in the park’s history, so let’s go into the details.

New rides:
Emmets Flying Adventure
Go on an adventure with Emmet as he fly’s on his triple decker couch. If you have ever been on Soarin’ over the World at Disneyland then you have a good idea what this ride might be like. You are seated in a row and watch a large screen that immerses you into the story line. There are smells and even sprays of water along the way. Our kids said this was their favorite new ride in the land. Height requirement: 40 inches, guests less than 52 inches must be accompanied by a responsible rider 14 years of age or older.
Queen Whatevra’s Carousel
Always a kid favorite is the carousel. Themed perfectly to the second Lego Movie our kids could go on it again and again. No height requirement.
Uni-Kitty’s Disco Drop
Have a seat and get sent up high in the sky (35 feet) to drop and turn quickly. If you are afraid of heights you may want to skip this one, although I thought it was pretty mild and both our kids loved it. Height requirement: You must be 40 inches, guests less than 48 inches must be accompanied by a responsible rider 14 years of age or older.
New Eats:
Everything is Ramen
If Ramen is your jam, then you are definitely going to want to stop by and pick up a bowl!
Cloud Cuckoo Crepes
A sweet treat for anyone on your list, these crepes made the entire land smell amazing!
new experiences:
Benny’s Play Ship
Let your kids climb, slide and play in this rocket ship in the center of the land. No height requirement.
Build Watevra You Wa’Na Build Zone
This lego free play zone was a big hit with our kiddos, in fact I think they could have stayed here for at least an hour. So many lego’s to build whatever you want and I loved that they had someone there disinfecting the stations.
Emmet’s Super Suite
Meet Emmet and friends at this indoor location.
Splash Pad
If it is a hot day be prepared to let your kids run through the water in the center of town. A great place to cool off!
Photo Spots
There are lots of fun photo spots throughout the land that we loved!
After the event we decided to go play in the rest of the park. Our kids love that all the rides are geared toward them! I would say, in my opinion, that Legoland is perfect for ages 3 to 13, especially perfect for ages 5 to 10.
The water park, which I have a blog post on HERE, is actually my favorite outdoor water park in California! This is perfect for kids of ALL ages! I also have a blog post on the Deep Sea Adventure and the Brick-or-Treat event that they host every October. I also have blog posts on both the Legoland hotel and the Castle hotel, both are super fun if you are planning a trip to Legoland.
Are your kids into Lego’s? Have you ever been to a Legoland Park?? What do you think about The New Legoland Movie World?
