Top 5 Things to do at Epcot

“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day.” -Walt Disney

We had the honor of being part of the Disney Creators Conference, which allowed us to visit all the parks at Disney World for the second time. There is so much to do at each park, you could spend a week at Disney World and still not see it all. I asked the kids and hubby and we all agreed on what we think are “must-do’s.” Here is our list of top 5 things to do at Epcot. I tried to give a few options within each number, not so you feel like you need to do each one, but to make sure families with different ages/heights had multiple choices.

I paid for my ticket to the Disney Creators Conference, but it was heavily discounted. All opinions and photos are mine.

1. Frozen Ride: (no height requirement) It is probably my favorite ride at Epcot! Try to get a fast pass for this ride because the line can be very long.

2. The Seas with Nemo & Friends with aquarium afterwards: (any height) The kids love this ride (it is similar to our Little Mermaid ride in California). They could easily spend an hour in the aquarium, which is a great place if it is hot or raining outside. There is also Turtle Talk with Crush inside the aquarium area that is a super fun show for the family.

3. Mission Space (40″ height requirement) make sure you do the “easy” line if you get motion sickness. Or try Spaceship Earth (any height) for the smaller kiddos that takes you inside the big, legendary ball in the front of Epcot.

4. Visit the countries– Make sure you eat/drink from different restaurants and get your passport stamped along the way at the “Kidcot Fun Stops.” You can buy a passport there or you could make your own at home before you go. There are lots of photo opportunities in each country like the famous phone booths in England and The Eiffel Tower in France. You can also find a character experience in each land. For instance, you might find Belle in France, Snow White in Germany and Jasmine in Morocco.

5. Test Track (40″ height requirement) and/or Journey into Imagination with Figment (any height) for smaller kiddos. The actual ride of Figment didn’t really excite me, but at the end there are interactive games & characters you can meet. It was a great place to stay out of the rain (or heat) and have some fun!

Worth Noting: We also LOVE the ride “Soarin’ over the World” but because we have that in California we don’t feel like we have to do it in Florida. You must be 40″ to go on Soarin’ but it is definitely worth getting a fast pass to ride! We also really enjoyed the Beauty and the Beast sing-a-long in France which is right next to our favorite French bistro “Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie.” Make sure to pick up some croissants and other treats, then go watch the show!;)
