Why Avengers Endgame is Breaking all Box Office Records

This weekend Avengers Endgame broke all records at the movie box office. If you have never seen an Avengers movie you may be wondering why a superhero movie is shattering records with a historic $1.2 Billion with the global debut. Just a few short months ago I was one of those people, but recently I had the chance to watch my first Marvel movie; Captain Marvel and I was hit by the superhero bug. I then watched Avengers Infinity War in preparation for Avengers Endgame and knew why everyone was hooked on these series.

The characters are relatable, funny, brave and somehow the story lines feel so impacting on your own life you forget it is make-believe. Here is a little more info about Endgame…

Brief Synopsis: The Avengers are reduced and left with one final attempt to turn back the hands of time in order to get rid of the evil Thanos once and for all. Thanos, who wipes out half the universe in Avengers Infinity War, is back and stronger than ever, which makes the mission seem almost impossible. This is the grand-conclusion to the TWENTY-TWO films within the Marvel Studios and you don’t want to miss it.

What ages do I suggest to see it? There are definitely very mature subjects/story lines as well as lots of violence that happen during the movie. There are also a few choice words, which makes me say that I think the movie is better suited for ages 12/13 and older.

Other Info: Even though this is a 3 hour movie, it doesn’t feel that long, BUT I suggest not drinking a lot of water before or during the movie so you don’t have to run to the bathroom half way through.;) I also suggest that you watch at least Avengers Infinity War before going to see Endgame. It will give you more back story and help put the pieces together so you understand what is going on. I also suggest a box of tissues, you will cry like a baby (don’t say I didn’t warn you). And lastly, for all you romantic comedy movie lovers out there, I promise you will get romance and comedy in this movie, it will not disappoint!
