Tropical Vacation Style & Giveaway

When we knew we were heading back on the Disney Cruise Line for a Caribbean vacation I knew I wanted to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe. My first, and pretty much only stop, was Shop Pink Blush. I have had the privilege of wearing them for a few events and just love the quality and beauty of their clothes, plus they are always super comfortable as well.

The key to tropical vacation clothing is picking just a few items that can go from beach to dinner in minimal effort. Nothing fits that description more than a kimono and Shop Pink Blush has so many to choose from I had a super hard time deciding! These two were gorgeous and I felt like I could throw them on over a suit or dress them up with jeans and heels/wedges or put them on over a dress.
Next up I wanted to add a few nice dresses to wear for formal nights on the cruise as well as some adult only dining that required long dresses. The pink floral one has pockets, which I LOVE and could either wear with flip flops or heals. The soft blue was so feminine, pretty and very lightweight!
I also wanted a top that could be super cute to wear with shorts or again, dress up with pants and heels. Are you seeing a trend? It’s so nice not having to pack too much, therefore just changing from shorts to pants and changing from sandals to wedges/heels is much easier! This striped top is ADORABLE and doesn’t show how many free ice-cream cones I ate that week!;)

To be honest I haven’t bought myself anything new in a couple years. Money is tight and there is always something else that needs to be fixed or replaced around the house. I have received some nearly new tops from my sister though within the last year.
The last time I bought something new to wear was the Sunday before Memorial Day (5/27) at Old Navy—just hours before my cousin’s wedding…. Last stitch effort to look kinda fancy! 😂

I recently tried the trunk shop through Nordstrom’s but I’m picky so I didn’t really fall in love with anything. I will have to go check out Pink Blush
I love to thrift shop, so my last purchase was a “Mauve” dress at a local charity thrift store called Angelview. 🙂
love adding Kimonos to fancy up an outfit or make me more comfortable in my swimsuit running around with the kids! You looked so cute in the pink off the shoulder top too!

About a month ago I bought a really nice summer top from Ross Dress for Less.
I think it was in March. I haven’t really feeling myself lately so I know I need to work on that but I feel like I’ve beern living in sweat pants for the last 2 months.
I am entering maternity mode with some new maternity dress pants. I am hoping to wear more dresses to get through the summer, so a gift card would be amazing! 🙂

I just bought a sun hat to help me from burning while we visited the San Diego Safari Park.
I got a few dresses from Neesess shopping site. It has really cute and beautiful, modest dresses. I was able to grab a few during the memorial day sale this past weekend.
I became a clothing consultant a couple months ago to help pay for my 2 year olds extremely high medical bills.
Since my husband got a new job (stable job less pay) we haven’t had the luxury of buying new clothes for either of us. Most goes to the little man.
