Disney on Ice “Dare to Dream”
“A dream is a wish your heart makes.” -Cinderella
We had such a fun night being hosted by Disney on Ice to see the new “Dare to Dream” performance at The Honda Center. It will only play in Anaheim from December 19th-23rd, then moves to Ontario December 26th-30th and Long Beach January 3rd-6th. You can still use the code MOM20 for a 20% discount on tickets (select nights only).
For the first time ever Moana took to the ice, so in honor of her big debut the media was treated to a wonderful Polynesian welcome. The kids watched hula dancing and even got to try it themselves, which was absolutely adorable. We also made some Moana inspired crafts and had a few snacks before heading to the ice.
We also had some super special guests that stopped by just in time to say hello (so of course we did a quick costume change)!;)
Then it was time to hit the ice and watch the show. It started with a PRE-SHOW performance by some of the characters of COCO, which we absolutely loved! If you haven’t seen that movie yet, you really should, the music is beautiful.
Then the show really began with Mickey and his pals sharing the message of following your dreams and how sometimes that means being a hero in your own story. As the show continued we learned how Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel and even Elsa and Ana dared to dream.

We all had such a great time, we loved seeing our favorite Disney characters come to life on the ice and singing along with all of them to our favorite music was a blast! The only thing I will say that was slightly difficult is that we went to the 7pm show, so by the time we got out it was very late for our young kiddos. If you can, I would try to go for a matinee performance, which would probably be best for kids under the age of 8.
You can catch all the dates and cities that Disney on Ice is headed to by checking out their website. After Ontario and Long Beach, it will be headed further south to San Diego then Las Vegas, Fresno, Phoenix, San Jose, Stockton, Oakland, Sacramento and then will head more east.
