Magic Key Holder Benefits

“Trust the MAGIC of new beginnings.”

We had the honor of being included in an exclusive first look at the benefits coming to Magic Key Holders at Disneyland. For those that may not know, Magic Key Holders are the new name of what used to be Annual Passholders. As in previous years, Annual Passholders, now Magic Key Holders, have been given different discounts, exclusive merchandise and other opportunities. At this event we were shown some of the advantages now available, some only lasting the first 66 days since keys were first available for purchase.

Here are some of the details you can find for Magic Key Holders at Disneyland and California Adventure…

1. The Magic Key Starcade Experience: located at Disneyland in Tomorrowland from September 1st-October 30th from 12-6 daily. Enjoy a special space with phone charging stations, photo opportunities some exclusive just for Halloween and occasional visits from Minnie or Mickey. Since it is located indoors, masks are required.

2. The Magic Key Terrace: located at California Adventure upstairs from the Wine Country Trattoria. Enjoy exclusive drinks and food, which I had the opportunity to try and it was all delicious!! My favorites were the Scallops, Mulholland Meatballs, Slider Invasion and Heimlich Chew-Chew watermelon juice. The chef said 90% of the menu can be made gluten free, which is fantastic, you just have to ask the server. It is open now via mobile walk up list, or check in at the location for availability. Advanced reservations open September 2nd on the Disneyland app.

3. Magic Key Holder Popcorn Bucket: coming soon you can purchase your bucket for $11 with refills only $1.50. This is a great treat for kids at an even better price!

4. Mr. Toad Photo Opportunity: located at Disneyland near the Mr. Toad ride, enjoy a complementary photo pass magic shot through October 30th. We still need to check this out!;)

5. Magic Key Embroidery: special options now available at select locations.

6. Merchandise: All members who sign up in the first 66 days guests will receive a welcome package with unique items such as a branded pin, button, magnet and more.

So, you may wonder how to afford Magic Key’s since they are very expensive? I have a few tips for that too, here they are…

  • Try the Monthly payments.
  • If you can go during the week, get a lower level pass.
  • Have only one adult/parent get a higher level pass with either the discount on parking or the parking included if you plan to go more than twice monthly.
  • Ask for Disney gift cards for all birthday’s and holiday’s.
  • See if you can cut back on anything else “extra” like those trips to Starbucks, eating out a lot, or unnecessary trips to the dry cleaners. We make the effort to wash our own cars, we don’t have a yard crew or a house cleaner, all of those things can add up!

    Everything looks so inviting!!
I only wish, that Disneyland was in Northern California instead of Southern California!
As long as I’m wishing, maybe we can have both locations!! 🌠

LOL! Yes, that would be amazing if they had more locations!;) Or at least more resorts all over!
