Planning an Easy Outdoor Movie Night

An item always on our summer bucket list each year is to have an outdoor movie night. We love to enjoy the outdoors, especially since we live in Southern California where the weather is so nice year round. You don’t need much to make this happen, here are some tips for planning an easy outdoor movie night…

1. Movie Projector & Movie of choice: We found this super affordable movie projector on Amazon and it works great. It can connect to blue tooth, or you can plug it into another device like an iPad.

2. Blank wall, Garage Door or White sheet hung up: You could use a wall of your house, but we happen to have a white sheet and stand that we like to use. You could even use a garage door.

3. Sitting Area: blow up an air mattress, set up a bunch of blankets, or use some lawn chairs. Whatever is most comfortable to you and your family.

4. Snacks: You can theme the snacks to whatever movie you are watching, or just do traditional movie theater type snacks. Our favorites are popcorn, any kind of candy and of course something to quench your thirst!
